After working in other media, I chose stainless steel and bronze. Metal fabrication suits my requirements for making permanent outdoor and indoor pieces. The power and attributes of metal allow me to build independently and give me the opportunity to open up any form.
With my direct metal technique, every mark is potentially useable; sculpture becomes more immediate and changeable.

I try to create a language that expresses organic human form. I give the viewers enough realism and enough distortion to keep them interested. The dynamics of negative and positive space is evident. I like to include an element of abstraction to provide the work with a timeless originality that sparks contemplation regardless of current trends.
